  Spent 10 days at Bowhey’s “Resort” in June. It’s not a resort just 3 cabins and the stay was not enjoyable – don’t waste your time or money. Do what Bowhey did for his holiday and go to Cuba.
  - Owner Ian Bowhey was in our face at 7.00am.
  - Cabin tap water was brown and had a terrible smell. Owner said it was drinkable well water. Partner was sick for weeks after drinking the water.
  - Take a bug zapper. I did and in 10 days it was covered in black fly and mosquitoes.
  - Lake is 2 – 4 feet deep. I assume it was a swamp that has been flooded.
  - Swimming pool was not open. Cafe was not open until Bowhey’s wife arrived at the week end. Then it was party time for the Bowhey’s.
  - Bowhey likes to play with his toys, a motor cycle that he revved up making a much noise as possible and a Trans AM he left idling out side our cabin.
  - Owner doesn't know if he wants to run a marina, cafe, gas station or power generating plant, manage rental properties cabins or sell cars!
